The several days before. I'm looking for information on the DORMAN 924-509 Replacement Spare Tire Hoist, so i would like to describe here.
the original assembly GM is a noted part, high-failure because it is under-designed. because it is rarely used, the assembly is prone to seize (rust) and then the spare tire can not be removed when you must. the Dorman design appears to be improved (Simplified) than the original hoist on my ' 03 Trailblazer and is unlikely to make the same mistake as part of GM and replaces. the only reason they don't get five stars is that there is no country of origin
